Resources by Council District

These pages introduce residents of City Council districts to a few of the historical materials about their neighborhoods available in the Seattle Municipal Archives. Arranged within the topics of Early Records, Parks and Recreation, Infrastructure and Public Works, Neighborhood Development and Community Services, and Legislative History, these pages dip into a few of the resources available to those interested in researching the history of their neighborhoods.

The Seattle Municipal Archives acknowledges that we are on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Indigenous Coast Salish People past and present, and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.
