I received a letter inviting me to participate in the Choose 180 Young Adult Diversion Program. What is this program?
The Seattle City Attorney's Office is excited to partner with Choose 180, a Seattle area non-profit, to offer a Pre-Filing Diversion opportunity for some 18-24-year-olds who are accused of committing lower-level crimes and/or who have limited criminal history.
Instead of being processed through the criminal system, participants will be invited to participate in a 4-hour workshop presented by Choose 180. A charge will not be filed against participants who successfully complete the workshop.
Participants will also be encouraged to seek resources and further support through Seattle Municipal Court's Resource Center.
I received a letter inviting me to participate in the Pre-filing DWLS3 Diversion Program (Driving While License Suspended 3). What is this program?
The Seattle City Attorney's Office is excited to partner with Legacy of Equality, Organizing and Leadership (LELO), a Seattle area non-profit, to offer re-licensing support to some people accused of committing Driving While License Suspended 3.
Instead of being processed through the criminal system, participants are invited to work with LELO on completing an assessment and developing a recovery plan for how to become relicensed. There is no cost to participants for LELO's assistance and interpreters will also be provided at no cost.
Participants will also be encouraged to seek resources and further support through Seattle Municipal Court's Resource Center.

I received a letter inviting me to participate in the Access to Change Diversion Program presented by Gay City. What is this program?
The Seattle City Attorney's Office is excited to partner with Gay City, a Seattle area non-profit, to offer a Pre-Filing Diversion opportunity for some 18-24-year-olds who are accused of committing family domestic violence-related crimes.
Instead of being processed through the traditional criminal system, participants will be invited to participate in Access to Change, a 5-week workshop series presented by Gay City. The program is free and open to people of all gender identities and sexual orientations. A charge will not be filed against participants who successfully complete the workshop.
I received a letter inviting me to participate in the Unified Outreach Diversion Program. What is this program?
The Seattle City Attorney's Office is excited to partner with Unified Outreach, a Seattle area non-profit, to offer a Pre-Filing Diversion opportunity for some individuals who are accused of committing lower-level crimes.
Instead of being processed through the criminal system, participants will be invited to participate in a free 6-hour workshop that includes art therapy, community healing, breakout sessions, community speakers and ongoing service connections presented by Unified Outreach. A charge will not be filed against participants who successfully complete the workshop.

The Seattle City Attorney's Office is excited to partner with Urban League, a Seattle area non-profit, to offer a Pre-Filing Diversion opportunity for some individuals who are accused of committing lower-level crimes.
Instead of being processed through the criminal system, participants will be invited to participate in a free 4-week cohort that includes job training, wraparound services, and job placement assistance presented by Urban League. Participants will receive a $200 stipend for each week they attend. A charge will not be filed against participants who successfully complete the workshop.

Instead of being processed through the criminal system, participants will be invited to participate in a free 2-day job readiness program that includes job training, employment placement, and other services presented by Uplift Northwest. A charge will not be filed against participants who successfully complete the program.

Instead of being processed through the criminal system, participants will be invited to participate in a free behavioral health assessment and follow up mental health and substance use services presented by Consejo. A charge will not be filed against participants who successfully complete the assessment.

Instead of being processed through the criminal system, participants will be invited to participate in an intake with a care coordinator who can make connections to local services and resources. A charge will not be filed against participants who successfully complete the intake.
