General COVID-19 Updates

During the COVID-19 pandemic, and in accordance with the Executive Order and Mayoral Directive from Mayor Durkan, access to the Department of Education and Early Learning at the Seattle Municipal Tower has been restricted to essential DEEL personnel. Updates on when DEEL's offices will reopen to the public will be provided on this page as soon as they are available.

DEEL's Program Intake Representatives and Human Service Coordinators are still available to assist families with questions about the Seattle Preschool Program (SPP), the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), and the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) by phone and email.
