About The P-Patch
Yesler Terrace: Ballpark, and Freeway Gardens
The Yesler Terrace Gardens are some of the most vibrant community gardens in Seattle with gardeners from all over East Africa and Southeast Asia bringing knowledge from their respective home country. The gardens were established in 1995 with a exemplary partnership between the Seattle Housing Authority and the City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, P-Patch Community Gardening Program. The gardens work with over 35 community members directly and feed many more. Despite the redevelopment of Yesler Terrace, Yesler's gardens continue to be a place of community building, solace and source of food for community members.
*Garden Plots are only for Seattle Housing Authority-Yesler Terrace Residents
