Commercial Affordability
Seattle Office of Economic Development's Commercial Affordability strategy is focused on providing financial and technical assistance support that makes it affordable for small businesses to start and grow in their communities. Programs support small businesses by connecting them to operating capital, tenant improvement grants, permit support, and commercial space technical assistance.
Capital Access Program
The Capital Access Program will lower the cost of Small Business Flex Fund loans for eligible small businesses by paying down 25% of the loan principal.
Seattle Restored
The Seattle Restored program matches vacant commercial storefronts with small business owners, artists and entrepreneurs to facilitate pop-up shops and art instillations.
Tenant Improvement Program
The Tenant Improvement Program provides funding for small businesses to build out commercial spaces and make commercial improvements more affordable.
