Environmental Programs

EnviroStars

EnviroStars is the free, one-stop hub for Washington businesses to get information, assistance and recognition for actions that protect the environment and employee health and safety. This program is led by a coalition of utilities, cities and counties and advised by a diverse volunteer business committee. The Office of Economic Development along with other City departments offer direct assistance, and free resources to help businesses find new ways to be efficient, safe, healthy and profitable, while contributing to a more sustainable community.

Businesses will now have just one, rather than several, places to go to learn how to green their business and get recognized for their efforts - whether it be for saving energy and water, or reducing waste and pollution.

Visit envirostars.org and use your business address to easily find incentives and rebates to reduce water, energy and pollution and to learn more on getting recognized for the action your business takes.
