Bicycle Weekends will be back in 2025! Follow this page for schedule updates.

During these times, we invite everyone in the community to bike, jog, or stroll along Lake Washington Boulevard between the Seward Park entrance and Mount Baker Park’s beach. 

On scheduled weekends from May to September, a portion of Lake Washington Boulevard will be closed to motorized vehicles from Saturday at 10 a.m. to Sunday at 6 p.m.

About

Bicycle Sundays/Bicycle Weekends is a program that has taken place on Lake Washington Boulevard for over 50 years! 
 
From Mount Baker Beach to Seward Park, Bicycle Weekends closes Lake Washington Boulevard to vehicle thru traffic and opens the boulevard to more walking, biking, and rolling.

Budget

$20,000 from the Activating & Connecting Greenways Program is allocated to this year's Bicycle Weekend Program.
