Unreinforced Masonry Buildings - Get Involved
Stay Informed
There will be opportunities for public comment to guide development of the mandatory URM retrofit program. This may include meetings with City Council and Committees, community engagement events, and URM Policy Development Working Group meetings.
Policy development working groups provide input and inform development of supportive resources for URM retrofits. Meeting notes from these groups can be found on the Background page. If you would like to be added to the URM Policy Development Working Group distribution list for these meetings, please contact Amanda.Hertzfeld@seattle.gov.
All meetings will be advertised through the Meetings & Events column on the right side of this page, via the SDCI email distribution list, and through the URM Policy Committee Working Group distribution lists. You can stay informed on our progress by adding your email to our listserv (through the Subscribe box on the right side of this page) to receive periodic updates.
