Items Accepted
- Antifreeze and motor oil
- Drain openers
- Hobby chemicals
- Cleaning products
- Paint thinners
- Pool and spa supplies
- Batteries (alkaline, button, rechargeable and vehicle batteries)
- Vehicle batteries
- Oil-based paint
- Pesticides
- Propane tanks
- Wood preservatives
- Glues and adhesives
- Fluorescent light bulbs and tubes (also accepted at many retail stores)
- Mercury-containing thermometers and thermostats
- Business hazardous waste (some restrictions apply)
Items Not Accepted
- Asbestos
- Medical wastes
- Latex paint and latex stain
- Needles, syringes and other sharps
- Computers and laptops
- TVs and VCRs
- Ammunition, fireworks and explosives

- Hazardous products are usually labeled with the words Danger, Poison, Caution, or Warning.
